What Youll Do
Provide bedside nursing care to oncology patients, including those with hematology, medical oncology, BMT, and gynecologic/surgical oncology
Administer medications, including chemo, via barcode medication administration
Assist with bedside CVC placements and bone marrow biopsies
Operate equipment such as Alaris IV pumps, feeding pumps, and SCD machines
Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
Support weekend coverage and float as needed in a high-acuity setting
What You Need
Valid RN license in Louisiana or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications
Epic system experience
Minimum of prior oncology and infusion experience
Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable with potentially participating in emergency or relief teams if activated
