Oncology Veterinarian – Specialty & Emergency Hospital

A specialty veterinary hospital is seeking a Oncology Veterinarian to join its collaborative and supportive clinical team. This role offers the opportunity to provide advanced oncology care while working alongside experienced specialists and emergency veterinarians in a well-equipped facility.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat cancer and oncology-related conditions in animal patients

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including chemotherapy protocols

• Collaborate with veterinary specialists and clinical teams to provide comprehensive patient care

• Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and prognosis

• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university

• Board-certified or residency-trained in veterinary oncology

• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in oncology medicine

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
