Caregiver Responsibilities


Responsibilities may vary depending on the client’s needs and care plan, but can include:


  •  Providing companionship and emotional support 
  •  Assisting with personal care such as bathing, grooming, and toileting 
  •  Light housekeeping and laundry 
  •  Meal preparation 
  •  Transportation to appointments and errands 
  •  Following individualized care plans 
  •  Helping clients maintain comfort, dignity, and independence

  •  Other caregiving duties as assigned 
Qualifications


  •  Willingness to complete all employment requirements and screenings 
  •  Valid driver’s license and auto insurance 
  •  Clean driving record 
  •  Prior caregiving or home care experience preferred, but not required 
  •  Reliable transportation 
  •  Access to email and a smartphone 
  •  Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  •  Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and compassion at all times
