Position Title One Year Lecturer Position - Counseling Non-Discrimination Statement

Department Counseling and Human Services Job Purpose

The University of Scranton Department of Counseling and Human Services invites applications for a one year, non-tenure-track Lecturer position across the three Counseling Graduate programs beginning in August, 2026.

Additional Skills Required Minimum Education Requirements

A Masters degree in Counseling from a CACREP accredited school

Preferred Education

Preferred applicants will have a doctoral degree in Counselor Education and Supervision.

Minimum Job Experience Requirements

Three or more years of experience as a Professional Counselor, and Graduate/Undergraduate teaching experience will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred applicants will have experience as a Professional Counselor.
