About the Role: North Point Prep in Alpharetta, GA is looking for a passionate and nurturing One Year Old Teacher to join their dedicated early childhood team! Responsibilities:
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support the cognitive, social, and physical development of one-year-olds
Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment that meets licensing and health standards
Build warm, trusting relationships with infants and toddlers through responsive caregiving
Communicate daily with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress, milestones, and daily activities
Follow consistent daily routines including feeding, diapering, napping, and play
Observe and document developmental milestones and report any concerns to lead staff
Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive, supportive classroom experience
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; early childhood education coursework or CDA credential preferred
Prior experience working with infants or toddlers in a licensed childcare setting preferred
Strong understanding of infant/toddler developmental milestones and best practices
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting, bending, and sitting on the floor
Current or ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with a genuine love for working with young children
Must pass required background checks in accordance with Georgia childcare licensing regulations
