Step into a dynamic, purpose-driven role beginning with immersive training to deeply internalize ONIC's mission, vision, and core pillars. From there, they will conduct asset mapping to uncover community needs and resources, building an inventory that shapes and drives ONIC's initiatives. A central responsibility will be developing and maintaining an accessible community resource database, complete with clear protocols for updates and seamless usage, ensuring staff and residents can quickly connect with critical services. The VISTA Member will cultivate strategic partnerships with local service providers, streamlining referral processes and expanding access to resources. Volunteer management will be another cornerstone of this role. The VISTA Member will recruit, train, and retain volunteers by designing a Volunteer Handbook, building training systems, and establishing evaluation frameworks that strengthen volunteer impact and ONIC's capacity to serve communities.
