    The online Student Ambassador serves as a positive representative of the institution, supporting prospective, new, and current online students through engagement, outreach, and peer-to-peer mentoring. This role helps foster a welcoming virtual learning community by sharing personal experiences, promoting student success resources, and assisting with online events, communications, and social media initiatives.

    NCAA Guidelines

    All employees and staff of ISU are bound by all NCAA, Missouri Valley Conference and institutional rules and regulations pertaining to intercollegiate athletics and must conduct themselves in accordance therewith.     Job Duties

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Attend bimonthly Microsoft Teams meetings to discuss goals, evaluate successes and challenges, and share feedback, ideas, and recommendations.
    • Participate in one on-campus meeting, if possible, to collaborate with fellow ambassadors and program coordinators.
    • Contribute content to Sycamore Grove (Indiana State University's social media platform) at least once every two weeks.
    • Establish and facilitate class-specic channels to encourage academic discussion, collaboration, and peer engagement.
    • Build and maintain connections through Sycamore Grove to foster relationships with fellow students.
    • Serve as a resource for prospective and currents students by answering questions about online learning and degree completion programs.
