The Online Technical Tutor supports FAA personnel through remote, on-demand, one-on-one tutoring in advanced STEM topics, including mathematics, electronics, antennas, transmission systems, and ILS.
Applicants need a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, or a related field, or a valid teaching certification in a technical subject.
Proficiency in algebra, electronics fundamentals, and RF systems is preferred.
Strong communication skills and ability to use web-based tools are essential, with availability Monday-Friday, 0700-1530 Central Time.
Responsibilities include delivering tutoring sessions, assisting with course materials, explaining complex concepts, recording sessions, providing feedback, and supporting scheduled and on-demand requests.
