A doctorate in Cloud Computing, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a closely related field is required, with at least 18 graduate credit hours in cloud computing, distributed systems, networking, cybersecurity, or a related computing discipline.

Degrees must be awarded by an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation, or by an international institution determined to hold equivalent accreditation.
Three to five years of applied professional experience in cloud computing, distributed infrastructure, virtualization, or cloud-native technologies.
Demonstrated experience with cloud architecture and cloud-enabled software development, including infrastructure provisioning, containerization, and deployment of applications within cloud platforms.
Industry-recognized certifications or professional credentials relevant to cloud computing, cloud architecture, infrastructure engineering, or DevOps practices.
Strong subject matter expertise in cloud technologies, combined with effective communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse learners.
Knowledge of secure and responsible cloud operations, including identity and access management, data protection, regulatory considerations, and cloud security best practices.
Faculty must have a commitment to ongoing professional development in instructional technology, digital literacy, and responsible AI practices.

Pay:
Visiting Professor pay is based on level, credit hours taught per 8-week session, and location.
