Summary

Assist Falcon Outfitters Management efficient and effective operations of the Online Services program.

Essential Functions

• Fulfill online orders in a timely fashion
• Work with customers (by phone and by e-mail) on refunds, returns, etc.
• Check the online orders e-mail account daily.
• Read and respond to all e-mails regarding online orders
• Add new merchandise to the online store as it arrives
• Write appealing descriptions for apparel items as well as novelty and gift items
• Add appropriate tags to each item and add them to the proper collection
• Double check that all inventory, pricing, SKU, and vendor information is correct before publishing
• Monitor inventory on the website
• Conduct daily and weekly inventory checks and update as necessary
• Conduct daily and weekly price checks and update as necessary (if items go to clearance or are on sale for a specified amount of time)
• Communicate with supervisor about items that are selling well, to ensure that more inventory is ordered if needed
• Get trained on operating the register, to work as a backup cashier.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be available for at least a 2- 3 hour blocks every day (M-F)
• Must be able to work a few weekend days a semester, especially during the holiday season
• Must be available during winter and summer breaks
• Must exhibit friendly and customer service-oriented behavior
• Uses critical thinking skills to solve problems without consistent direction or supervisor intervention
• Must be detail-oriented with care attention exhibited while working.
• Must possess good written and oral skills
