Entry Level IT Professional
Position Overview
Dhaka Technologies Limited is seeking an Entry Level IT Professional to provide technical support, user account assistance, application troubleshooting, and basic IT operational support for one of its clients.
This role is ideal for a current university student in their third year or a recent graduate who is looking to begin a career in information technology, application support, systems support, or technical operations. The selected candidate will serve as a first point of contact for technical issues and will work alongside client staff to support application testing, software troubleshooting, and infrastructure maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a first point of contact for basic technical support requests.
- Assist internal and external users with software-related issues.
- Troubleshoot application-level problems and escalate complex issues when needed.
- Manage user accounts and permissions, including account creation, configuration, and updates.
- Support basic access management activities in accordance with established procedures.
- Assist with application testing, issue tracking, and validation activities.
- Work with technical and business teams to identify, document, and resolve system issues.
- Support infrastructure maintenance activities under the guidance of senior technical staff.
- Document troubleshooting steps, support actions, and issue resolutions.
- Follow established IT support procedures, security practices, and service guidelines.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with users, technical teams, and client staff.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Must be in the third year of a university program or be a recent graduate from an accredited college or university.
- Preferred fields of study include Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related scientific or technical disciplines.
- Basic understanding of operating systems.
- Basic proficiency with SQL.
- General troubleshooting skills.
- Strong willingness to learn new systems, applications, and technical processes.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with users and team members.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical staff.
Experience Requirement
1 year professional IT experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Academic coursework, internships, projects, or lab experience involving IT support, software testing, databases, systems administration, or application troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with help desk tools, ticketing systems, user account management, or basic networking concepts.
