The Facility Manager will provide support and access to third party vendors as well as conduct preventative maintenance & repairs:

  • Supervise maintenance technicians
  • Manage computer-based work-order system, and ensure completion of work
  • Maintain excellent relations with owners/residents through fast, well-done, efficient work completion
  • Grow the maintenance operation to achieve goals set forth by leadership
  • Manage daily scheduling of crew members and resource allocation Organize and set up maintenance projects
  • Set up maintenance schedules
  • Prepare estimates and proposals
  • Track job information in spreadsheets
  • Manage time sheet records and expense reporting

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Ability to climb stairs, ladders, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or reach frequently.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally heavier with assistance.
  • Manual dexterity to operate tools, equipment, and machinery safely.
  • Visual acuity to inspect equipment, read gauges, and perform detailed tasks.
  • Hearing ability to detect alarms, equipment sounds, and verbal instructions in noisy environments.
  • Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (heat, cold, dust, noise, outdoors).
  • Ability to wear and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Ability to work varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, on-call, and overtime as required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Complete understanding of repairs and maintenance at a facility level
  • Skilled in hands on mechanical, plumbing, general building repairs and consider self a "Jack of all trades"
  • Ability to use basic construction tools effectively
  • Must be able to read and understand English to effectively communicate with fellow employees on work-related issues
  • Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
  • Must have prioritization and time management skills.
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must have a pleasant attitude and a good work ethic.

Pay and Benefits:

$75,000 to $85,000 depending on education and experience.
