Indotronix is seeking an :Electronic Assembler, : Austin, TX
Shift: 1st (6:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
Work Schedule: 4/10 (Mon-Thu)
High School Diploma / Trade School / GED
Responsibilities:
• Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, and modules using drawings, schematics, and work instructions
• Perform wiring, soldering, cable/harness assembly, and mechanical assembly tasks
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
• Inspect assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards (J-STD, IPC-610)
• Support production and prototype builds, including assembly, disassembly, and modifications
• Use hand tools, microscopes, and precision equipment for assembly and testing
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues and improve processes
Basic Qualifications:
• High school diploma, GED, or trade school with 4+ years of related experience
• Experience with electronic assembly, soldering, wiring, and cable/harness work
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Strong attention to detail and basic computer skills
• Ability to obtain solder and ESD certifications
Preferred Qualifications:
• Soldering experience per J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 standards
• Experience with through-hole and surface mount soldering, crimping, and conformal coating
• Familiarity with electronic/mechanical assembly processes and tools
• Experience working with microscopes and small components
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry materials as needed
• Occasional bending, reaching, and use of manual tools
