QUALIFICATIONS

What We’re Looking For

Fluency in English and at least one target language (spoken and understood at a professional level).
Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
Proven medical interpreting experience (preferred).
Excellent listening, memory retention, and note-taking skills.
Ability to remain impartial, professional, and composed in sensitive situations.
Educational background in languages or interpretation (a plus).

RESPONSIBILITIES

What You’ll Do

As an onsite medical interpreter, you will:

Provide accurate, high-quality consecutive interpretation during medical appointments and healthcare interactions.
Facilitate clear communication between healthcare providers and patients.
Maintain professionalism, neutrality, and strict confidentiality at all times.
Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and awareness in diverse healthcare settings.
Follow client-specific protocols while confidently managing the flow of communication.
You will work face-to-face in healthcare facilities on an as-needed basis as an independent contractor—offering flexibility while contributing to meaningful work.
