Pay range - $25-40/hr - depending on experience.
Overview:
The Program Operations Coordinator provides operational and administrative support to ensure the efficient execution of communications programs and projects. This role coordinates project workflows, tracks priorities and action items, manages documentation and meeting logistics, and supports Communications Strategists and Project Managers by maintaining organization, accountability, and timely delivery across the portfolio.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist Communications Strategists and Project Managers with incoming ticket submissions, compiling project status updates, and organizing Box project files.
Plan, organize, and provide logistics for meetings.
Attend program-level meetings, take notes and action items.
Track action items, leadership tasks, and administrative commitments to ensure timely execution and accountability.
Perform other duties as assigned to support successful communications project execution.
Basic Criteria:
Possess a High School diploma or equivalent.
Have three or more years of relevant administrative experience.
Are proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of software tools; specifically: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Possess strong verbal, written, and inter-personal communication skills.
Have strong time management and work organization and planning skills.
Are able to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
Are able to interact effectively with all levels of staff, work independently and as part of a team, proactively work to solve problems
independently, and are committed to helping others and the organization achieve goals.
Possess a positive work ethic that includes, takes initiative to solve problems, pays attention to detail, uses discretion and good judgment.
Desired Qualifications:
Possess an Associate's degree in a relevant field.
Have previous administrative experience within and are familiar with the organization, staff, sponsors, and programs.
Are familiar with policies, practices, and procedures, including travel, purchasing, budgeting, and security.
Must be willing to work irregular hours to meet the business need of the group upon occasion.
