Position Summary:


Limitless Endeavors is seeking School Based Support Specialist to provide guidance, encouragement, and support to assigned youth to foster their personal, academic, or professional development for the upcoming 2026-27 school year. This role is centered on building a positive, trusting relationship that helps the youth set and achieve goals, gain confidence, and develop skills. This position will be located in a Prince Georges County Public Elementary School during school hours. This position is also an Independent Contractor position.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Establish a positive, supportive, and respectful relationship with the assigned youth.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff.
  • Meet with parents and youth to discuss progress and identify needs. 
  • Meet regularly based on program guidelines.
  • Help youth set goals and work toward achieving them.
  • Share knowledge, skills, and experiences to support  youth growth.
  • Actively listen and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain confidentiality and appropriate boundaries.
  • Track and report progress, behaviors, attendance, and issues to supervisor of the program.
  • Participate in required mentor training sessions and program check-ins.
  • Serve as a role model demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and integrity.
Qualifications:


  • Demonstrated experience in [relevant field or expertise, e.g., education, leadership, business]
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build rapport with diverse individuals
  • Dependable, patient, and committed to the mentoring process
  • Previous mentoring or coaching experience preferred but not required
  • Must complete background check (if applicable)
Time Commitment:


  • Arrive to school on time as scheduled. 
  •  20 -30 hours per week
  • Commitment of at least [e.g., 6 months or 1 academic year]

EVALUATION


Performance of this position will be evaluated in accordance with Limitless Endeavors workflow Manual.  The immediate supervisor or CEO will provide the evaluation individually.
