Job Title: ONSITE SUPPORT ENGINEER

Duration: Long-Term Contract

Location: Blue Ash, OH (100% Onsite - 5 Days/Week)

Required Pay Scale: 50-55/hr

Due to client requirements this role is only open to USC or GC candidates

Job Summary: Seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer with a strong Production Support background. This role focuses on leading major production incidents, driving root cause analysis, improving system reliability, and supporting enterprise applications across cloud and on-prem environments. Candidates should be comfortable working with code, automation, and production troubleshooting.

Project Details:

  • Lead P1/P2 Major Incident Management and bridge calls
  • Drive RCA and Problem Management to closure
  • Troubleshoot production issues across Cloud, On-Prem, and Enterprise/POS environments
  • Collaborate with Engineering teams to improve production stability
  • Rotating on-call support and occasional travel for site go-lives

Must Haves:

  • Top 3 Must-Have Skills (Non-Negotiable) 1. Major Incident Management (Highest Priority)
  • Must have led P1/P2 production incidents as an Incident Commander or Bridge Lead.
  • Should have hands-on experience driving war rooms/bridge calls, coordinating cross-functional teams, and communicating with leadership.
  • Candidates who only "participated" in incidents will not be considered.
  1. Root Cause Analysis (RCA) / Problem Management
  • Strong experience conducting structured RCA using methodologies such as:

  • 5 Whys

  • Fishbone Analysis

  • Timeline Reconstruction

  • Must have driven corrective and preventive actions through completion-not simply documented findings.

  1. Production Troubleshooting
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot production issues across:

  • Cloud environments

  • On-Prem infrastructure

  • Enterprise Store/POS systems

  • Strong experience using monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace, Azure Monitor, or similar platforms.

  • Comfortable analyzing logs, dashboards, metrics, and application behavior under production pressure.

  • Desired Skills:

  • Enterprise Point of Sale (POS) systems experience

  • Automation and scripting experience

  • Experience supporting hybrid Cloud + On-Prem environments

  • Willingness to travel as needed (approximately every 4 weeks)
