OPCON Batch Operator

Role Title: OPCON Batch Operator
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 Months
Role Description:
* Monitor, schedule, and control daily batch processing using OPCON.
* Identify and resolve batch job failures and escalate issues in a timely manner.
* Perform root cause analysis for job execution issues and contribute to incident resolution.
* Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth batch operations.
* Create, configure, and maintain job schedules, calendars, and dependencies in OPCON.
* Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Java-based batch applications using Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and related frameworks.
* Integrate Java/Spring batch jobs with OPCON schedules and automation flows.
* Build and maintain microservices or support utilities for batch orchestration, logging, and monitoring. * Automate operational tasks using Java, shell scripting, or OPCON native tools.
* Ensure batch operations meet defined SLAs and quality standards.
* Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities for batch-related codebases.
* Provide after-hours/on-call support for critical batch processing windows.
* Must be available for flexible hours and on-call rotations as needed. -
