Compensation: $28.00-$33.02

Hours: 5.75 hours per day, 28.75 hours per week (Monday-Friday)

Highcrest Elementary School has an opening for an Open ChoiceTutor. We are looking for a motivated and dedicated professional with superior communication skills to provide student intervention support for the 2026-2027 academic year.

The Math Tutor will work across all grade levels (K-6) to support students with direct, targeted math intervention/instruction to promote student growth toward grade level expectations and goal mastery.

Responsibilities:

• Implement daily lesson plans for students targeting individualized support;
• Work directly with students to provide one-on-one, small group instruction or push into classrooms;
• Provide students with positive feedback and encouragement;
• Support student understanding of math concepts and demonstration of math fluency skills;
• Track and maintain records of student progress;
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to communicate goals/achievements, progress, student challenges and changes in interventions;
• Foster a positive learning environment that is sensitive to student needs that promotes increased math/learning performance.

Qualifications:

• Hold minimum of an Associate's degree;
• Elementary Teacher certification is preferred, but not required;
• Enthusiasm for helping children;
• Respectful attitude;
• Ability to manage plans and drive positive results;
• Patience;
• Flexibility and adaptability
