Open Rank, Clinical Faculty - Medicine, Hepatology

The University of Miami Health System is initiating a search for a Clinical Gastroenterologist (open rank).

The physician in the clinical track is responsible for providing direct inpatient and outpatient care to Hepatology patients at UHealth Locations and Jackson Memorial Hospital.He/she will provide outpatient clinical and endoscopic services, as well as rounding/teaching on inpatients at UHealth Towers, and Jackson Memorial Hospital. Preferred physician who has experience as a Transplant Hepatologist. 

Essential Job Functions:

• Maintain outpatient clinical practice atUhealth locations, UHealth Towers, and/or Satellite locations.  

• Reading of Fibroscans .

• Rotate proportionate to other faculty on Hepatologyinpatient and JMH teaching services.  

 
Qualifications: 

• MD/DO Degree.

• ACGME US Internal Medicine Residency. 

• Completed 3-year ACGME US Gastroenterology and/or Hepatology fellowship.  

• Valid American Board Certification in Internal Medicine.

• Valid unrestricted Florida Medical License.

• Valid DEA licensure.  

• Completion of transplant hepatology training
