The Department of Radiology at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center is seeking applicants for a fellowship-trained Nuclear Medicine PhysicianDiagnostic Radiologist.

As a member of our team of nationally recognized nuclear medicine radiologists and medical physicists the successful candidate will have the opportunity to practice cutting-edge nuclear medicine with optional opportunities to assist in other subspecialties according to interest or expertise. We provide the full range of nuclear medicine imaging services including Rb-82 cardiac PETCT DOTATATE PETCT and PSMA PETCT. We collaborate closely with UNMs comprehensive cancer center and we serve as a state-wide referral center for nuclear medicine therapies including I-131 hyperthyroid and thyroid cancer with dosimetry available Lutathera® for neuroendocrine tumors and Pluvicto® for prostate cancer. Additional opportunities include participation in tumor boards and multidisciplinary conferences as well as other interdisciplinary activities. Research opportunities are available and are encouraged. State-of-the-art 7T PETMRI translational imaging and image processing facilities are available and research is supported by dedicated research staff. We are enhancing our system coverage in an ever-growing practice.
