The UNM Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is eager to put together the right package for addictions-trained physicians with an interest in teaching coupled with an interest in joining a team of talented, caring, and committed faculty members.
Applications are being accepted for academic faculty physicians suitable for appointment at the rank of Assistant Associate or full Professor for a position in our Addiction Psychiatry Division.

As an attending physician, the persons selected will have a voice in developing the addiction programs direction as well as opportunities for multicultural clinical care and scholarly and collaborative research activities across the Health Sciences campus.
There are many opportunities for professional development in leadership, administration, and education, including mentoring and supervision of medical students, residents, fellows, and trainees in multiple disciplines.
Salary and academic rank are commensurate with experience and academic background.
