The Comcast Cloud Team is seeking an OpenStack Platform Engineer to help design, test, optimize and deploy our multi-region private cloud environment. We support thousands of hosts running tens of thousands of virtual machines, so automation skills are highly desired. Bring your expertise in Linux systems engineering, virtualization, networking and troubleshooting along with a desire to solve large scale engineering problems. The Global Cloud Technologies team provides the digital foundation for our application developers to reach millions of customers across the globe. Within this group the Private Cloud Platform Engineering team builds products that enable on-premise applications to leverage a Cloud model while minimizing cost to the business and ensuring we meet our security and compliance goals. We work to optimize the availability, performance, capacityutilization and developer experience of our platforms. We partner with our Architecture team on design, enable our SRE team to operate the platform, and collaborate with our Portal team to enable tenants to consume our services.
