Opera in the Park Portland is bringing the world's first mariachi opera, the sweeping, emotional masterpiece Cruzar la cara de la luna (To Cross the Face of the Moon), to our community this summer. This incredible concert opera features nearly 100 artists on stage, including orchestra, chorus, and a full cast. And even better, it is completely free to the public, and we are expecting over 10,000 neighbors to join us across our two locations. People bring picnics or enjoy the onsite food carts. It is a truly special offering specific to our region and we hope you can be a part of it!

Friday, July 24 at 6:30 PM at Shute Park in Hillsboro
Sunday, July 26 at 6:00 PM at Peninsula Park in North Portland
To make an outdoor concert event of this scale a success, we need your help. Whether you want to help greet guests, hand out programs, or assist behind the scenes, we have a spot for you.
