What Youll Do
- Provide direct nursing care in the Operating Room for assigned cases
- Prepare the operating room and assist with ensuring readiness for procedures
- Maintain sterile technique and support safe perioperative workflow
- Anticipate surgeons needs and coordinate effectively with the surgical team
- Support documentation and adherence to facility policies and procedural standards
- Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled to support surgical operations
Case mix may include: C-sections, laparoscopic hysterectomy, diagnostic laparoscopic surgery, urology cases (end of month), and EGD/colonoscopy.
What You Need
Required
- RN licensure
- 5+ years of OR experience
- Ability to work MonThurs 6:30 AM5:00 PM
- Ability to participate in on-call coverage (7 days from WednesdayTuesday every 4th week)
Preferred
- Strong familiarity with perioperative workflow for a mixed case environment (OB/GYN, GI endoscopy, urology, and laparoscopy)
