Description
HireTeq Solutions is hiring for an RN Manager – Operating Room (OR) for one of our Fortune healthcare clients. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Operating Room, ensuring high-quality patient care, staff leadership, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence while supporting departmental goals and strategic initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Operating Room and ensure efficient patient care delivery.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, payroll approvals, performance evaluations, and employee development.
- Supervise, mentor, and coach nursing staff while promoting teamwork and professional growth.
- Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, HIPAA, and other regulatory standards.
- Monitor quality, patient safety, customer satisfaction, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Assist with budget management, supply utilization, and departmental strategic planning.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Maintain department readiness for regulatory surveys and accreditation requirements.

Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
- MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Three years of relevant clinical nursing experience.
- PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Two years of management/supervisory experience
- REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Arizona. CPR required. ACLS, as applicable by facility or department, and PALS/NRP are required for certain clinical areas.
- REQUIRED COURSE(S) TRAINING: In Cardiovascular: minimum of three to five years of Cardiovascular experience, to bedside care of open-heart patients. In 2 EQ Nursery: minimum of three years Special Care (Level 2 EQ) Nursery experience, including ventilators.
- PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/REGISTRATION: CCRN or PCCN for PCU/Tele/Stepdown, CCRN for ICU/CVICU, CEN for ER, CAPA/CPAN or CNOR for Surgical Services, Maternal/Family Health Cert for WIS, RN-BC for Med-Surg, CRRN for Rehabilitation.
