What Youll Do
Provide specialized perioperative nursing care in neurosurgery, spine, orthopedic/spine, and complex general surgeries including bariatric procedures
Assist surgical teams during procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes
Monitor patients vital signs and anesthetic status before, during, and after surgery
Maintain sterile techniques and ensure adherence to infection control protocols
Prepare operating rooms, assist with equipment and supplies management
Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists to follow surgical plans
Respond promptly to intraoperative issues or emergencies
What You Need
Required:
Valid Ohio RN license
BCLS certification
Minimum 3 years OR experience
Experience with Level I trauma and neuro surgeries preferred
Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Prior travel experience is a plus
Preferred:
Epic EMR experience
Experience in ENT, GU, plastics, or burns surgeries
