What You’ll Do
  • Provide perioperative nursing care to surgical patients across multiple specialties, including orthopedic, cardiovascular, ENT, GYN, plastics, vascular, ophthalmologist, general surgery, trauma, urology, neurosurgery, and robotic procedures
  • Circulate during daytime 12-hour shifts, handling emergency and add-on cases
  • Assess patient status and coordinate care with surgical and anesthesia teams
  • Maintain a sterile environment adhering to AORN standards
  • Respond promptly to emergency call requirements with a 30-minute response time
  • Support unit operations during scheduled weekdays and weekends, including holiday coverage as needed
  • Work independently during off-hours in a community hospital trauma setting

What You Need
  • Active RN license in State
  • BLS & ACLS certifications
  • Minimum 2 years circulating experience in an OR environment
  • Trauma Level II experience strongly preferred
  • Epic EMR experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and handle emergency situations effectively
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
