What Youll Do
Provide perioperative nursing care to surgical patients across multiple specialties, including orthopedic, cardiovascular, ENT, GYN, plastics, vascular, ophthalmologist, general surgery, trauma, urology, neurosurgery, and robotic procedures
Circulate during daytime 12-hour shifts, handling emergency and add-on cases
Assess patient status and coordinate care with surgical and anesthesia teams
Maintain a sterile environment adhering to AORN standards
Respond promptly to emergency call requirements with a 30-minute response time
Support unit operations during scheduled weekdays and weekends, including holiday coverage as needed
Work independently during off-hours in a community hospital trauma setting
What You Need
Active RN license in State
BLS & ACLS certifications
Minimum 2 years circulating experience in an OR environment
Trauma Level II experience strongly preferred
Epic EMR experience preferred
Ability to work independently and handle emergency situations effectively
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
