Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in a variety of surgeries, performing preoperative assessments, intraoperative support, and postoperative care.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and sterile techniques.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations.
- Be flexible and adaptable to emergency or relief assignments as needed.
Required Skills:
- Valid RN license with current certification.
- Minimum of 2 years OR experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong clinical skills in surgical nursing.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience.
- Prior experience in high-volume surgical settings.
- Ability to handle multiple cases efficiently.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher preferred.
- Prior travel nursing experience is a plus, but not required if sufficient OR experience is demonstrated.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to be part of emergency response teams if assigned.
- Scrubs provided (green).
- Shift: Day shift, 5 days/week (06:30 - 15:00).
- Estimated Cases per Day: 10-25 across 7 rooms.
- Certification in travel or licensure-related reimbursements may apply.
- Must be comfortable with potential emergency assignments, including on-call duties during weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
