Title :Operating Room Technician - OR Tech - CV
Burlington , VT
Duration :16 weeks
Shift - 10H Rotating (Day/Evening) 07:30 AM - 05:30 PM
Facility: University of Vermont Medical Center
Rates are tiered based on mileage - measured by direct line not driving distance. Travel (101 miles+), Radius (51-100 miles), Local (50 miles or less)
CVORT: Certified Scrub tech; Floating required, call as required, and weekends as needed. Travelers must work 2 out of the 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Years Day.
Requirements:
AHA BLS and NBSTSA required, CNOR preferred 2 years of OR experience Prior travel experience required Large, teaching hospital experience required Level 1 trauma within last year and at least 1 year in work experience CV Techs are required to have experience in single scrub capacity in CT cases Solid knowledge base including, but not limited to, ortho, robotics, general surgery, ENT, plastics, and neuro Additional Information: IVS to OFFER
Monday to Sunday No block schedules for any reason Bi-weekly orientations on Monday Please ensure all employment gaps over 90 days are explained This facility requires ALL work history information (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) to be complete in order to submit Disclaimers: Public Transportation is NOT accessible in this area, please ensure you have reliable transportation, personal vehicle or rental vehicle are strongly recommended Vehicles should be equipped with all season or snow tires during the months of November April
