The Opportunity:
Tetra Tech is adding a highly motivated and experienced Operational Environmental Compliance Project Manager to join our growing energy compliance practice. This team supports environmental compliance, ecological monitoring, mitigation implementation, restoration science, and adaptive management activities associated with utility-scale renewable energy generation and transmission facilities.
The successful candidate will manage environmental compliance projects during the post-construction operational phase of utility-scale energy facilities. Responsibilities include overseeing environmental monitoring programs, managing compliance reporting, coordinating with regulatory agencies, supporting mitigation implementation, and ensuring facilities remain compliant with permit requirements and environmental commitments.
Location: Pacific Northwest (Remote or Hybrid)

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, Rangeland Science, Natural Resources, or a related field.
5-8 years of relevant professional experience.
Experience managing environmental compliance, ecological monitoring, mitigation, or restoration projects.
Demonstrated project management experience, including management of scopes, schedules, budgets, and project teams.
Strong understanding of environmental compliance requirements associated with utility-scale energy facilities.
Knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations, including:
Endangered Species Act (ESA) Sections 7 and 10
Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act (BGEPA)
National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA)
State wildlife and environmental regulations
Strong communication, technical writing, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions.

Compensation:
Pay commensurate with experience.
Pay Range: $95,000-$130,000 yearly
Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience and demonstrated work experience in the above role; skills, certifications, and competencies that align to the specified role; geographic location; and education, as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
