Ready to turn strategy into daily habits?

If you thrive on coaching teams, simplifying flow, and making improvement stick, this role is for you. You will activate Lean transformation and daily management across a manufacturing value stream, side-by-side with the Operational Excellence Manager and value stream leaders.

What you will own

  • Implement strategies that embed Lean principles, practices, and tools into everyday processes.
  • Translate long- and short-term objectives into executable, value-stream-aligned actions.
  • Partner with site personnel to remove process obstacles and adjust systems/processes to support Lean initiatives.

How you will drive results

  • Gather KPI data, study current-state performance, and propose measurable future-state goals.
  • Apply value stream mapping to design efficient information, material, and production flows.
  • Support value stream analysis events that clarify priorities and surface constraints.

Tools and methods you will bring

  • Cycle time analysis, time studies, line balance improvements, and workplace analysis improvements.
  • Creation and implementation of standard work; coach line leaders to build and maintain their own.
  • Deployment and coaching of cell control boards and other visual management systems.

Leadership in action

  • Lead or facilitate continuous improvement projects and events.
  • Conduct Gemba walks and coach toward continuous improvement, robust standard work, flow, takt adherence, and rapid problem resolution of abnormalities.
  • Provide Lean Transformation training and maintain visual performance tools such as mission control and MDI boards.
  • Follow through on action plans and help teams lock in and sustain improvements.
  • Resolve issues that arise after events to reach the intended future state.

Building capability and culture

  • Identify ongoing training needs and ensure high engagement from participants in improvement events.
  • Communicate the direction of Lean transformation and daily management to employees.
  • Use a change management model to reinforce Lean behaviors, principles, and practices across the value stream.
