Position Summary

The areas of focus for the Network Readiness Delivery role includes new network product permit to define, build, and operate. The Delivery Lead is a key stakeholder/voter in Network Product Architecture Review Board (PARB) with accountability for the Operational Readiness of the product prior to deployment. Communicating the work objectives, coordinating delivery, managing risks, ensuring compliance to standards, and providing end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables of all new network services. This position will interface directly with internal stakeholders and external suppliers/providers, architecture, product engineering, product management, and business management. At times, they may interface with various levels of senior management. They facilitate sync points across multiple organizations to enable delivery. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are a must. The candidate must be able to work on their own and successfully in team settings in various sizes and locations. Adherence and use of standards, product sets, templates, systems, and artifacts are important to the success of the individual, the department, and the firm at large.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and facilitate routines to support delivery of new services and technologies across multiple teams
• Facilitate dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the defined deliverables
• Ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with the sponsor/stakeholders
• Ensure deliverables comply with Network & Enterprise Standards
• Support and manage operational readiness activities and product introductions for cross-functional support teams across all Network technologies globally
• Collaborate with consulting service vendors, managed service providers and internal partners to develop and transition new product introductions
• Responsible for efficiency improvements by driving processes, adherence to standards, and continual process review
• Manage a large portfolio of strategic and tactical projects with operational accountability for product governance, operational support model development, business case support, risk analysis, technical/architectural assessment, and knowledge management
• The ability to assemble professional documents based on existing templates and ability to provide accurate work descriptions with assumptions, and caveats

Required Qualifications

• Leadership & ownership: Self-starter, self-directed and is accountable
• Understands network-based technologies and demonstrates competency in technical terminology the ability to translate customer/business requirements into business solutions and successfully position with customers
• Experience with release and deployment or operational readiness of network technologies; Including but not limited to WAN, LAN, MAN, Optical Core, Firewall, Proxy/Threat prevention, Load Balancing, DDI, and AAA
• Strong analytical skills
• Organized and detail oriented
• Ability to handle complex and ambiguous situations in an independent manner
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence
• Experience with Agile framework & SCRUM ceremonies
• Excellent client interfacing skills, strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with all levels of management
• Candidate should have experience operating with colleagues across different time zones with a flexible approach to working hours (ability to work varied hours) to successfully interact and communicate on a global level

• Experience required in Networking-related disciplines in design, operate and implementation services
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Financial Services (Insurance, Banking, Investment banking), is a plus
• Has participated in design, implementation, or operations of major IT projects
