Eatons ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Operational Technologies Technician. The position will be based at our El Paso, Texas facility.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $56000 - $83000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What youll do:
The Operational Technologies Technician will assist in the development of Continuous Improvement Engineering initiatives which will result in supporting advancements in productivity, product cost, quality and/or the maintenance of the plant facilities equipment and its production process. They will perform a wide variety of engineering and technical tasks involving the application of engineering knowledge and the development of solutions to complex problems pertaining to products, materials, manufacturing processes, tests, and unique design applications.
Essential Functions:
Assist in Industry 4.0 projects including automation, Digital core, IIoT, additive manufacturing and systems integration.
Support plant teams on maintenance of machine connectivity & data acquisition activities.
Develop knowledge & expertise in the Industry 4.0 tools & technologies to be a subject matter expert (SME) for the site teams.
Provide technical support related to automation and manufacturing processes.

Proficient with computer and software tools including advanced Excel capabilities (pivots, macros, power query.)
Understanding of machine connectivity, communication protocols & data management
Understanding of IT infrastructure & system integration.
Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green minimum)
Basic experience with 3D CAD modeling software (Inventor, Solidworks)
