Our client is a well-established fence installation company seeking an Operations Administrative Support Specialist to join their team. This role supports day-to-day operations by assisting with bidding, change orders, prequalification packages, and safety documentation. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in commercial or residential construction operations and strong communication skills.
Job Responsibilities -
- Assist with the preparation of job bids and the processing of change orders.
- Complete and submit prequalification packages and maintain up-to-date information on contractor websites.
- Serve as a professional point of contact for customers and contractors via phone and email.
- Review drawings and proposals to support operational and administrative tasks.
- Maintain and update company safety documentation as needed.
- Learn and support the submittal process under the guidance of the operations team.
- Collaborate with team members to keep administrative workflows running smoothly.
Job Requirements -
- Prior experience in commercial or residential construction in an operations-focused role.
- Working knowledge of the bidding process and change order procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and proposals.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience updating SOP's and Safety procedures.
- Willingness to learn the submittal process
