Operations Analyst - Onsite

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Operations Analyst - Onsite position with a Global Financial Institution located in Brea, CA. This is an 8 month contract opportunity.

This role performs a variety of back-office functions supporting the branch system, including general accounting, reconciliation, research, and operational compliance. The specialist will interface with internal and external customers to ensure smooth banking operations and will be accountable for compliance with all Federal and State laws related to the position.

Responsibilities:

• Perform back-office functions including general accounting, reconciliation, signature verification, research, file maintenance, and operational compliance
• Handle ACH Processing and Returns, Adjustments, and Encoding Errors
• Process activity on controlled accounts and reconcile RITS/Official Check Balancing
• Manage Customer Telephone Transfers and associated reporting
• Address IRS Backup Withholding, year-end Tax Reporting, and Annual State Escheatment/Dormant Accounts
• Support Online Banking and Cash Management Services
• Process IRA accounts, Reg CC Holds, Levies, Subpoenas, and NSF Reporting
• Order branch cash and reconcile the Bank's cash vaults
• Open and maintain retirement accounts and process retirement transactions
• Troubleshoot, research, and resolve customer concerns and provide error resolution

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
• Good working knowledge of all central operations functions, products, procedures, and compliance
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong analytical ability with active listening skills
• Ability to work accurately with close attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to respond to inquiries or complaints effectively and timely
• Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks with good time-management and problem-solving skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Willingness to adapt to changing business needs and deadlines

Pay range up to: $29.61 per hour
