DescriptionWe are seeking a strategic, hands-on leader to serve as our Operations and Strategy Manager, a blended role combining operational development with strategic planning and systems design. This person will identify inefficiencies, implement scalable systems, and align operations with long-term goals. A key focus will be integrating a manufacturing-based mindset into design, development, and construction to ensure consistency, cost control, and quality. Strategic Leadership * Support multi-year strategic planning with the President of Development * Coordinate and track annual goals across departments * Drive alignment and accountability around strategic initiatives * Support teams in designing and improving systems that align with strategic direction Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement * Partner with our CI Practitioner to embed lean principles * Coach teams in continuous improvement practices * Lead projects to reduce waste and improve operational efficiency * Conduct weekly huddles and Gemba walks to reinforce goals and accountability * Prioritize schedule attainment as a driver of efficiency Cross-Department Collaboration & Change Management * Improve cross-department information flow (design, development, construction) * Lead thoughtful, well-communicated change management efforts * Develop and monitor KPIs for strategic and operational performance * Oversee our safety team and strengthen our safety culture Project & Process Management * Eliminate operational bottlenecks across departments * Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve scalability and customer experience * Engage directly in project work to pilot and implement solutions* Model a hands-on, team-oriented, continuous improvement mindset Targeting $ 100-130kJob RequirementsRequired Skills / Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree in Operations, Engineering, or related field * 7+ years' experience in business operations, process improvement, or continuous improvement Preferred Skills / Qualifications:* Experience in manufacturing or real estate is a plus)* Strong knowledge of lean principles and systems thinking * Proven success in cross-functional leadership and change management * Strong analytical, coaching, and communication skills * Skilled in spreadsheets, data analysis, and performance metrics Aleron companies (Acara Solutions, Aleron Shared Resources, Broadleaf Results, Lume Strategies, TalentRise, Viaduct) are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
