Operations and Supply Chain Manager Job Description- Pioneer Seed Distributor
\nFlagship Pioneer agency with multiple locations surrounding the FM area is looking for an Operations and Supply Chain Manager
\nJob Responsibilities (but not limited to)-
\no Seed Management- Current year+1 demand planning, early order planning, inventory planning and receiving bin planning, corn storage, organizing, soybean seed discard, packaged seed returns to Pioneer, seed inventory reconciliation for multiple locations
\no Facilities Management- Overall (properties up to date: buildings, gravel, septic, etc.), seed & chemical plant maintenance, treater maintenance, setup, treatment calibration, chemical and water tank maintenance (can include snow removal and lawncare)
\no Plot Management-Multiple sites show plot management and PKP plot planning, planting, and harvesting (working with Pioneer) with appropriate scouting, data collection, data entry, also includes chemistry and fertilizer plan
\no Delivery Management and Assistance- Seed delivery management and delivery assistance on seed and chemical, and includes seed staging, delivery, treating, Pro Box/pallet/seed customer returns
\no Vehicle Management- vehicles and trailer maintenance (appointments and coordinating with team members on getting to garages) and management (selling and replacing), DOT registration, Semi Truck annual forms filled out
\no Tools & Equipment Management- Forklifts, Conveyors, Tractors, Tools, Skids
\no Customer Event Management- Event planning, site prep, etc.
\no Intern Supervision- On some items above and potential field scouting for plots
\no Billing/Invoicing- Working with team on seed, treatment, and chemical invoicing entry, being up to date and correct, and sent to customers when needed
\no Specialty Area Management- Pioneer signage orders/management, sweet corn orders, delivery tickets, etc.

Key Skillsets-
\no Organizational Skills- Ability to keep track of inventory and when deliveries are coming in and going out
\no Basic Computer Skills- This role will utilize Microsoft Office programs as well as navigate through some Pioneer corporate tools for ordering, tracking, delivering and returning seed
\no Attention to Details- This is crucial as this role will deal with a large amount of seed units between multiple sites, so the ideal candidate will have to be very detailed
\no Basic Mechanical Skills- It is important for this role to be able to make sure the multiple pickups and semi-trucks are running correctly and know when to maintain or repair something or get into a mechanic shop
\no Farming/Equipment Familiarity- Having some sort of an Ag background is a big plus with this role’s use of tractors for loading seed bins along with farm conveyors. There is also a small amount of planting plots during planting season that this individual will be responsible for
\nCompensation-
\no Salary and bonuses- $60-90k annual earnings potential depending on experience with room to grow
