Cimarron is seeking an *Operations and Sustainment Lead *to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO. 
Key Duties: 
- Lead a team of engineers and administrators supporting IT operations across three geographically dispersed sites.
- Oversee daily IT support activities, including incident resolution, new installations, off-site support, and coordination with project teams.
- Monitor IT systems and proactively communicate potential mission impacts to the customer.
- Evaluate risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain communication capabilities and operational readiness.
- Coordinate with asset management to ensure timely technology refreshes and procurement align with project schedules.
- Forecast and plan for future customer needs related to licensing, access, and account administration.
- Provide technical and managerial guidance for defining, analyzing, and implementing complex system solutions.
- Recommend and support system development, enhancement, and optimization initiatives.
Required/Desired Skills, Experience, and Education
Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

- Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening, which will include but is not limited to testing for marijuana use.
- Active Secret Clearance. 
- 8 or more years of full-time work experience. 
- 5 or more years of directly related experience. 
- 5 or more years of experience in enterprise and mission IT support.
- 1 or more years of experience in a management or leadership position.
