Job Scope: The Roadrunner Operations and Transportation Manager is responsible for overseeing and supporting daily on-site operations, including employee drivers, vans, vehicles, transportation scheduling, and customer account management while ensuring outstanding customer service and operational efficiency. Duties:
Schedule and assign vehicle pickups and deliveries.
Oversee daily transportation and dispatch operations to ensure efficient workflow.
Handle customer calls, invoices, driver sign-in sheets, and payroll.
File accident reports when needed.
Provide outstanding customer service to our auto auction and dealership customers on a daily basis.
Manage and inspire a team of employee drivers. Not over-the-road or contract truck drivers.
Maintain strong relationships with existing customer accounts and serve as the primary point of contact for operational needs.
Address customer concerns, resolve service issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Coordinate with customers and internal teams to ensure transportation needs and expectations are met.
Monitor daily operations, driver performance, and service quality.
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and strengthen customer relationships.
Other duties as assigned by the Regional Manager.
Requirements:
Dispatch, transportation, or operations management experience preferred.
Experience in account management and maintaining customer relationships.
Extensive knowledge of the Dallas/Fort Worth area and surrounding locations.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Good computer skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Leadership experience and the ability to effectively manage a team.
Successful background check and drug test.
Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Minimum 20 years of age.
Auto auction, rental car, dealership, or similar industry experience is helpful.
Work Schedule: Day Shift, Monday through Friday
