Operations Assistant Manager – Turf Maintenance


Location: Summerville, SC

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations for our turf maintenance team. This role is responsible for managing technicians, scheduling, training, and ensuring high-quality service delivery while supporting company growth and customer satisfaction.
 
 
Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day field operations and technician performance
• Manage scheduling, routing, and workflow efficiency
• Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new technicians
• Ensure services are completed safely, accurately, and to company standards
• Address customer concerns and support service quality improvements
• Monitor equipment, vehicles, and inventory
• Collaborate with leadership to meet operational and growth goals

Qualifications

• Prior experience in turf maintenance, lawn care, or a related field preferred
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Knowledge of turf applications, spraying, and industry best practices preferred
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license
