Major Duties

Monitors operations of assigned area, normally during absence of the manager and normally at night or on weekends. Opens and closes activity and responsible for security of funds and assets. Prepares reports of significant occurrences during the shift. Assures patron satisfaction by resolving complaints and other customer issues.

Assists in ordering, receiving and inventorying of snacks; scheduling, initial training, continuing instruction and efficient utilization of all personnel within the activity. Responsible for merchandising, appearance and overall control of assigned area. Assists in maintaining all activity records and files such as daily preparation of accounting records; operational and inventory reports or other reports as needed. May sell concession snacks, operates cash register. Ensures adequate maintenance, sanitation, and cleanliness of the facility and its equipment.

Monitors the operation of game room, pro shop, lounge, desk operations and pin setting equipment. Assists customers in selecting equipment best suited for their bowling needs.

Ensures all tenets of EEO and safety regulations are followed.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

One year of experience in bowling operations or a related field or work area preferred. Knowledge in basic accounting, cash handling, and computers. Knowledge of the full range of cash register operations. Must demonstrate courtesy and tact in customer relations.
