Job OverviewEstablished specialty medical practice in Great Neck, NY is seeking an experienced Operations Coordinator - Healthcare to support the Director of Operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a healthcare administrative professional with experience in medical office administration, practice operations, and business support.
Responsibilities
Provide administrative and practice operations support to the Director of Operations
Assist with employee onboarding, personnel files, PTO tracking, timekeeping, and scheduling
Support payroll, accounts payable, bookkeeping, vendor payments, and purchasing
Prepare reports, correspondence, documents, and confidential records
Manage office supplies, inventory, and vendor relationships
Assist with patient scheduling, phones, check-in/check-out, and front desk operations as needed
Maintain accurate employee and practice records
Assist with basic office technology and equipment troubleshooting
Support daily medical office operations and improve administrative workflows
Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA requirements
Qualifications
2+ years of administrative experience in a healthcare or medical office
Experience working in a physician practice or medical practice
Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
Strong patient-service mindset
- ADP Workforce or RAMP experience is a plus
