Operations Coordinator/Administrative & Dispatch
Reports to: Branch Manager
Location: Minneapolis Metro,, MN
$25-$30

Position Summary:

The operations coordinator assists branch management in the daily operations of the branch. This position assists in the coordination of operations activities, product development and service and quality. Additionally, this position assists the branch manager/operations manager with monitoring of safety information, scheduling, reporting, and other safety related activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the coordination of daily yard activities of workers and drivers.
  • Utilize computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite and NAV.
  • Manage stock, check-in/out, confirm dates.
  • Manage service requests from start to finish.
  • Manage the scheduling of deliveries, pickups, set-ups.
  • Keep scheduling activities on board updated in real-time.
  • Communicate with customers prior to delivery & picks-ups.
  • Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
  • Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster, aid, and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate.
  • Monitor oversight of stock assignment to branches.
  • Issue and track vendor purchases orders
  • Assist in the monitoring of purchasing and expense associated with the maintenance of the yard and equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • This position requires a high school diploma and 1+ year of administrative assistant experience or equivalent combination of work and educational experience
  • Experience working on an assembly or construction site a plus.
  • Technical Capacity
  • Shown ability to collaborate with other team members to accomplish tasks.
  • Thoroughness and detail oriented.

Physical/Mental Demands:

  • Position requires a high degree of concentration to manage frequent interruptions while meeting strict deadlines.
  • Wears personnel protective equipment as required
  • Ability to be exposed to loud noise levels.
