Position Summary

The Operations Coordinator supports the Warehouse Management Team by coordinating daily warehouse and transportation operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and timely execution of customer and business requirements. This position serves as a key communication link between drivers, warehouse personnel, supervisors, and customer service teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers and prepare all required shipping documentation.
  • Issue and verify loading tickets for drivers upon arrival.
  • Dispatch drivers to designated loading areas and communicate arrivals to warehouse and supervisory teams.
  • Track and document container arrivals within the yard.
  • Prepare inbound container documentation and receiving labels as required.
  • Process inbound transactions and submit documentation to Customer Service in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Assist with inventory control, operational problem-solving, and general logistics support.
  • Professionally manage incoming calls, emails, and customer inquiries.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency efforts.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations preferred.
  • Prior operations coordination or dispatch experience strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and/or dispatch software is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
