We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to support regional operations with a focus on asset management, purchasing coordination, and inventory optimization. This role is critical in maximizing asset utilization, streamlining supply distribution, and ensuring operational efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
Responsibilities:
Identify and relocate underutilized assets throughout the region to optimize usage
Monitor and manage expendable supply stocks across multiple locations
Implement hub & spoke distribution plans for central expendable stock points
Coordinate with Houston purchasing team on capital equipment and key product agreements
Arrange movement of rental, fishing, and service equipment to maximize utilization and revenue
Serve as the regional focal point for equipment searches to avoid unnecessary purchases
Support operations/administrative departments with inventory tracking and other needs
Maintain compliance with all safety, security, and quality policies and procedures
Communicate effectively with all internal and external stakeholders
Skills Required:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong diplomatic abilities when dealing with internal and external customers
Detailed knowledge of Weatherford's service equipment and business operations
Proficiency in inventory management and asset tracking
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational and time management capabilities
Qualifications Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent
3-4+ years operational experience plus 0-1 years coordinator experience
Business skills in Operations and Administration
Knowledge of Weatherford's service equipment and business
Qualifications Preferred:
Associate's degree
Experience in oil and gas industry
Travel Requirement: Up to 10% domestic and potentially international travel
