POSITION SUMMARY

The Operations Coordinator supports day-to-day operations of Emerald Acres indoor facility, Family Entertainment Center (FEC), and seasonal outdoor sports complex. This role provides direct supervision of part-time staff, assists with department leaders, and helps execute programs, camps, clinics, events, rentals, and guest service operations. This team member plays a key role in daily shift leadership, facility readiness, and guest experience. They will also serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) as assigned.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Maintain day-to-day readiness of indoor courts, activity spaces, and multipurpose fields, including field readiness checks, equipment setup, and safety walkthroughs
  • Coordinate setup, transitions, and execution for events, tournaments, camps, rentals, expos, leagues, clinics, and programs, ensuring smooth event flow and facility usage
  • Oversee and supervise part-time and seasonal operations staff, including sports, field, FEC, and birthday party staff, ensuring consistent execution, safety, and a strong guest experience
  • Serve as MOD on weekdays, weekends, and during events as needed
  • Support hiring and staff development by assisting the GM/department leaders with interviewing, onboarding, scheduling, and coaching part-time staff
  • Support sales and revenue generation efforts by promoting programs and facility offerings to guests, community groups, and partners, and assisting with follow-up and partnerships
  • Support operations of the arcade, redemption counter, and party rooms, including monitoring equipment uptime, coordinating vendor service, and managing redemption inventory and prize stock levels
  • Assist with facility rentals, group bookings, scheduling coordination, and ensuring accurate facility usage
  • Track and report weekly sales totals, program budgets, attendance, participation, arcade performance, and other operational KPIs to venue leadership
  • Ensure high standards of guest service facility-wide by responding promptly and professionally to guest concerns
  • Conduct regular safety and readiness walkthroughs, and support emergency response procedures and incident reporting
  • Assist with event setup, facility transitions, customer service, and cross-departmental duties as needed during busy periods

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience supervising staff in sports, recreation, hospitality, or entertainment settings
  • Experience in sports programming event operations, or recreation services
  • Strong interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
