Athletes in Action is the sports ministry of Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ). Our mission is to see Christ-followers on every team in every sport in every nation. Our Campus Team is based out of our 250-acre athletic complex, supporting over 200 and counting college and university campus ministries around the country.
DETAILS ABOUT THE ROLE:
Analyze consumer buying patterns to predict future trends; coordinate with internal teams to inform purchasing decisions.
Source, evaluate, and maintain relationships with vendors; negotiate costs, timelines, and delivery terms; and maintain a comprehensive vendor catalog library.
Manage inventory, including receiving, storing, and distributing stock.
Oversee product merchandising, establish pricing policies, authorize clearance items, and manage promotional items.
Oversee Point of Sale systems setup and train staff who assist with sales.
Manage invoicing, financial recording of sales, and expense tracking.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store and storage environment.
Greet and welcome visitors in person and by phone; answer and route inquiries appropriately and provide general information about AIA as needed.
Monitor and respond to the AIA general email inbox and fax correspondence.
Ensure security by following established procedures.
Receive and notify staff of package deliveries (FedEx, UPS, Amazon, etc.); coordinate pickups and drop-offs as needed.
Maintain and update the HQ phone extension and staff cell phone list for internal use.
Coordinate conference room scheduling and reservations using Google Calendar.
Assist the supervisor and other ministry leaders with clearing monthly ministry credit card
expenses.
Provide general administrative support, including copying, scanning, faxing, filing, and relatedtasks.
Assist with budget monitoring, room lists, insurance follow-ups, scheduling of sports fields, andcustomer registrations.
Coordinate the full life cycle of assigned projects, including planning, tracking progress,communicating with stakeholders, and meeting deadlines.
Review project proposals to help determine scope, timelines, budget limitations, staffing needs,and resource allocation.
Coordinate project personnel to ensure work progresses on schedule and within budget; provideregular updates on over/under budget status.
Prepare and distribute project status reports for management and stakeholders.
Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems.
Any combination equivalent to: two years college level work in office management and three years experience in secretarial or office management positions of increasing responsibility.
