Description
Welcome and check in patients while creating a warm, professional experience
Verify insurance benefits and collect patient co-pays and coinsurance
Manage incoming phone calls, patient portal communications, and business text messages
Coordinate new patient inquiries, including outreach, scheduling, and intake paperwork
Assist with referrals, medical records requests, and care coordination
Manage provider schedules within the electronic health record (EHR) system
Maintain office supply inventory and coordinate vendor relationships
Support onboarding and offboarding of staff
Coordinate internal meetings and assist with administrative projects
Process incoming and outgoing mail
Provide operational support to leadership and assist with ongoing process improvements
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
Previous experience in customer service, administrative support, medical reception, or front-office operations required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and strong overall computer literacy
Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities
Experience with insurance verification, healthcare administration, or finance is preferred but not required
Experience learning new software systems, including electronic health records, is a plus

Compensation & Benefits Compensation
$24-26/hour
