Position Summary
The Operations Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations of Generations Ashe by coordinating administrative processes, assisting with program development, supporting employee recruitment and retention efforts, and helping improve organizational efficiency. This position works across departments to ensure programs, staff, and resources are aligned to effectively serve the community and advance the organization's mission.
Essential Responsibilities
Operational Support
Coordinate and improve internal systems, workflows, and organizational processes.
Assist with implementation of strategic initiatives and organizational goals.
Monitor operational procedures and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Maintain organizational policies, procedures, and operational documentation.
Support facilities, fleet, technology, and office operations as needed.
Program Development & Coordination
Assist departments with planning, launching, and evaluating new programs and services.
Coordinate cross-departmental projects and initiatives.
Collect and analyze program data to support continuous improvement and reporting.
Help identify community needs and opportunities for service expansion.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Support
Assist with recruitment activities, including job postings, applicant tracking, interview scheduling, and onboarding.
Coordinate employee orientation and training activities.
Support employee recognition, engagement, and retention initiatives.
Maintain personnel records and assist with compliance-related documentation.
Administrative & Organizational Support
Prepare reports, presentations, and organizational communications.
Coordinate meetings, trainings, and special events.
Assist with grant-related documentation and reporting requirements.
Serve as a liaison between departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in administration, operations, project coordination, human resources, or nonprofit management.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and database systems.
Experience in nonprofit, healthcare, aging services, or community-based organizations preferred.
